07:55 Upon arrival at the airport you will be transferred to Selcuk where you will meet your professional tour guide to begin your full day small group tour.

 

First you will visit The Temple of Artemis, which once was one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Then you will visit the world famous ancient Greco-Roman City of Ephesus, the most well preserved example in the world.  You will be able to explore the ruins of Ephesus while strolling past the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Trajan Fountain and be able to visit the Great Theater where Paul preached to the Ephesians. After visiting this impressive site, you will have a lunch break. After lunch, you will visit The House of Virgin Mary, where it is believed she spent her last days. This is a holy place for both Christians and Muslims. Next you will visit the Ephesus Archeological Museum to see findings of Ephesus excavations. You will also visit on this tour the İsabey Mosque, one of the oldest and most impressive works of architectural art in Turkey. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kusadasi for check-in. Your dinner tonight will be at the hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi. (L, D)

The following day we will drive to Pergamum, an ancient Greek city and the capital of the Kingdom of Pergamum. Here we will visit Aesculapium, an ancient medical center built in the name of Aesculapis, God of Medicine. Here different healing methods like blood transfusion, meditation, therapy with music and sound of water were first used.

 

After lunch we will continue to the Pergamum Acropolis with Athena and Trojan Temples, Temple of Zeus, Temple of Dionysos, Gymnasium of Youth, Odeon, Library, Agora, Great Theatre and Roman Bath.

 

After the tour, you will be transferred from Pergamum to Izmir Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival you will be picked-up from the airport and transferred to your hotel in Istanbul. END OF SERVICES. (B, L)
